Supported Employment

One of the most all-around gratifying services that Eaton Alliance offers is in our supported employment program. Individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities soar in their self-confidence and personal fulfillment when they perform meaningful, valued tasks in jobs that gratify their interests and utilize their unique capabilities. From helping to hone in on individuals’ interests and capacities with regard to employment, to accompanying them on trips to Vocational Rehabilitation, to creating resumes and filling out applications and interviewing, to landing jobs and receiving on-the-job coaching, Eaton Alliance’s supported employment program offers every-step-of-the-way support to the individuals we serve who seek employment. Often the relationships between our job coaching staff and the individuals we serve in a supported employment capacity are long-term due to the necessity of regular on-the-job guidance as well as advocacy between the individuals and their employers.
